Updating Your Operating Hours
You can update your Menu Hours automatically through the “Menus” section on the sidebar on Business Manager. You can update your hours permanently or temporarily with the ‘Special Hours’ feature.
Note: You need to publish these changes in order for the hours to be reflected to your eaters. However, please be aware that these hours will change for both your Direct Orders portal and any delivery platforms that you have integrated with. You cannot select a specific storefront to make these changes.
You can also pause/unpause your storefront by updating special hours on your storefront(s) through Business Manager.
Finding Reports for Direct Orders
You can get a report for sales through Direct Orders by selecting “Reports” on the left sidebar of Business Manager. You will then see a dropdown menu that will allow you to choose “Direct Orders”. Select that and it will load a report showing the performance of only the sales that came through Direct Orders.
Error Publishing Menu on Direct Orders
Our system will now check if a menu is invalid when you attempt to publish your menu. The error messages that show up will explain the reason(s) why the menu is invalid. As the menu is being published to different delivery partners, it might be invalid for different reasons such as the ones listed below:
- There is an empty modifier group that has no modifier items.
- The price is invalid.
- The menu has modifiers and the delivery partner does not support modifiers.
- The price override is invalid.
- The name is too long.
This is how you can find out more details about the errors that you are receiving as you are attempting to publish your menu.
- After clicking on “Publish”, the window will display an error icon (a triangle with an exclamation mark inside) next to your store. An error message will also appear at the bottom. Select “View all” next to the error message.
- You will now see all the errors associated with your menu in more detail. Errors are grouped according to the same type. Single-type errors will have an “Edit” button next to it whereas grouped errors will have a “View all” button next to it. Select “Edit” to make amendments to the menu item according to the error type. Here are a few examples of what they may look like:
